Our Management Team is open and approachable, lending support and listening to the staff, service users and their family members.

We also organise home and staff meetings where family and friends can voice suggestions and discuss the progress and achievements of service users.

Training

Midway Care Group is committed in ensuring our staff team are competent to carry out their roles to provide a personalised service to our customers. We are committed to our staff team development and provides career development opportunities for every employee.

New Starters

Joining Midway begins with a local “Welcome - get to know each other” induction day. This gives you a summary of what we do and our Service User group. At this stage you will receive an induction timetable tailored to your particular role. This will include face to face training days, distance learning and shadow shifts working with your mentor or line manager.

Training and Development

Our training and development programme ensures our staff team have the right knowledge, skills and attitudes to meet our Service User’s needs. Our induction includes a 12 week induction programme covering the Care Certificate and CQC care standards.

Midway Care Groups training and development programme is delivered in-house via a team of highly competent Practitioner Trainers, who have a wealth of experience and knowledge in the learning disabilities and complex needs care Industry. This ensures that mandatory and specialist training is delivered to an excellent standard and is person centred.

  • Additional bespoke courses to meet the needs of the people we support

Your on-going learning development

Following your induction, you will have plenty of opportunities to learn within your job. You will learn a lot during the day to day of your role, from your managers, colleagues and from the people you support.

QCF - Training

Midway Care Group offer QCF training up to Level 5 Leadership for Health and Social Care.
